What is Clairvoyant?

It is the use of the sixth sense – which I believe we are all born with, but we are taught that unless you can see it or prove it in science it is not there – but we all know love is there – but you cannot touch that ….. and how many times have you trusted your ‘gut feel’ and got it right?…..

There are a number of gifts which a Clairvoyant can have (they can have more than one) however these days most people just say they are Clairvoyant or Psychic.

Clairvoyance (seeing) is a 17th century French derivation ‘Clair’ means that which is clear and ‘voyance’ means to see or visibility. So in its basic form means ‘clear visibility’.

It refers to a person who can see images within thier head (or third eye)

Clairsentience (feeling/touching)The word “clear” is from the French ‘clair,’ and “sentience” is derived from the Latin sentire, “to feel”.

It refers to a person who can feel the vibration of other people and spirt  – this gift lets the psychic feel emotions or thoughts of other people, some can also feel illnesses (although under UK law they are not permited to read on these now).

A Clairsentience psychic  does not see a picture form in the mind, instead, a very vivid feeling can form. Clairsentiences tend to be very good at Psychometry.

Clairaudience (hearing/listening)Again from the French word ‘clair’ (clear) and audience (hearing)

Clairaudient is essentially the ability to hear in a psychic way. It can refer to actual hearing voices, tones, or noises which are not apparent to other humans as well as refer to perception of sound, ie an indication of impressions of the “inner mental ear” similar to the way many people think words without having auditory impressions.

Clairaudience may be positively distinguished from the voices heard by the mentally ill when it reveals information unavailable to the clairaudient person by normal means (including cold reading or other magic tricks), and thus may be termed “psychic” or paranormal.

Clairalience (smelling)Also known as clairescence. Again French ‘clair’ (clear) and alience (smelling).

This is a form of sixth sence where a person accesses psychic knowledge through the physical sense of smell.

Claircognizance (knowing)Again French ‘clair’ (clear) and cognizance (onoissance) ‘knowledge’.

This is where the person acquires psychic knowledge by means of intrinsic knowledge. It is the ability to know something without a physical explanation why you know it.. Mediums are Claircognizance.

Clairgustance (tasting)This is where the personas the gift of perception that allows them to taste a substance without putting anything in their mouth.

It is a debate which has no end as there is no scientific formula that can prove its authenticity.

Although even Albert Einstein said: “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

In the present century people are developing some faith in the existence of this kind of ability as there have been many incidences which have made them believe that clairvoyance is possible.

Two of the best examples of clairvoyance are:

1)The predictions made by Nosterdamus. He could predict future events including the place, date and time  – in some cases many many years ahead.

2) Ursula Southeil better known as Mother Shipton, who told of many prophecies that foretells many modern events and phenomena.

Many of their predictions are turning out to be true and forcing people to believe that there is existence of clairvoyance through which the future can be predicted.

How is ‘clairvoyance’ helpful?

Clairvoyant or psychic ability is a great gift and can prove to be useful as the future can be predicted and many disasters could be avoided by knowing about it and taking precautionary measures to ward off the consequences of the disaster.

Partaking in clairvoyant readings can be a wonderful and often enlightening experience for many individuals, especially when it comes to gaining a better understanding about their life in general and many of the situations that fall into everyday life.

Because readers will vary on what they can or cannot do, or how they might even perceive things, it’s generally good to plan ahead with what you’re wanting to look into and to make sure that you communicate openly and honestly. Testing a reader may seem like the best option, but this can often take up more time and, as a result, cost you more money during the session.
