KeymasterIn my opinion grounding is a term used in all energy work as a means to safely discharge excess and built up energy. Think of the circuit breakers in your house what happens when too much current is drawn or if it becomes unstable. The breaker trips and turns off the flow of energy or makes something unstable. To give this a little real world example – think of your body as a VCR or DVD Player. It is plugged in and working as the display is showing the time. When we use this equipment other parts energize and conduct electricity through them. Switches turn on other things that are otherwise “sleeping”. Now overuse stop/start, forward/reverse in a constant motion and movement will create heat and wear and tear in the components of this device, eventually causing a malfunction or failure. (even burnout or a fire) If this did happen the breaker would trip and stop electricity from flowing to it but the damage is done and the player is overloaded and broken. The same concept should be applied to you and your energy. When excess energy is downloaded into your energy, it needs a safe passage or way to leave your body. If you can not release this energy it can cause a malfunction in you and your body. We are also receivers, too much volume and power blows the speakers. Always set the intention of giving the energy a safe way to discharge and make it compatible as well. you cant mix AC (house) and DC (car) appliances.
